Pinterest Day 2

Ok, so I know Wed is Pinterest Day, but I had to share this today! I have  a little board called "Obsessed with nail art" (I'll share it another day). It's kinda crazy how popular this board is...one pin in particular. It's a great idea from a great blog, but I'm a little baffled as to why so MANY repins. Not that I'm complaining or that it's undeserving, but whoa!
Today, I got 225 email notifications of repins...I had to turn off that part of my email settings. And each email notification can contain multiple repins in it. And I went to look at how many repins I have on that particular pin...wait for it...6377. And while I was looking that up, I got 2 more email notifications.
Now, some of you professional pinners out there, may be thinking...big deal!? But, it just seems crazy to me! Anyway, here is the big pin...enjoy!
I really do think it's a great idea & I've used it! So I guess, well deserved Chloe's Nails!!

Friday Faves...

I love me some Friday Faves. This week, it's vintage kitchen. I have an addiction to things that go in my kitchen. Salt n pepper shakers, towels, anything tea related, dishes, mismatch silverware, vintage untensils...anything. So, I thought I'd share some cool finds from etsy.com!!

Wednesday is Pinterest day...

As many of you, I have a bit of a Pinterest problem! It's like going on a treasure hunt everytime. Just love it!!
So, in the interest of sharing my obsession & furthering yours, I have decided to make Wednesday Pinterest day. I will be sharing pins, boards, people I follow & pretty much anything & everything to do with pinterest.

Cakes...who doesn't love cake!!?? Well, I'm sure some of you, but mostly today, I wanted to share the beauty! I am not a big fan of super elaborate cakes, but I can appreciate the time & talent it takes to make & decorate them!! My style just tends to be simple & rustic. Mostly, I'm just looking for something I can do. I can bake like crazy, but I'm not that great in the decorating department. So, these are fairly simple, fairly doable cakes that I would love for any special occasion. I have to do one this weekend, so we'll see how that turns out! I also may try one of these for Valentine's Day. Enjoy...

New Year's Resolution...well sorta

Hey Peeps,

I have been away for a long long time! I fell off theface of the earth. Well actually I just bought a house,moved to an entirely different city, kids changed schools,we changed churches, etc. Life got super busy & our liveshave been turned upside down...in a good way. We missSan Diego & our family & friends, but we are lovingMurrieta! It is a new adventure for my family for sure, considering they were all born & raised in San Diego (myhubby & my girls) and well, I lived there for over 20 yearsso...I was only 1 when we moved...jk...I wish!!!

So, I thought I'd renew my blog writing in the new year!I have so much to share about 2011, but I won't bore youwith all of it...just a small recap. And then on to 2012's adventures!

Girls did fall ball this fall, to play catch up for missing thespring season. They did great...it was so fun to watch! Aren'tthey cute in their uniforms!!??

A great pumpkin patch in Fallbrook our good friendsrecommended. Loved it!! It's called Lavendar Hill.

And last but not least...our sweet puppy girl. We love her so...
